I garden, keep bees, hike, bike, and forage for wild foods near my home in Western Washington. I love dogs and overly complicated projects to make foods and other things that I could just as easily buy.

When I’m not reading or writing about nature, I’m probably thinking obsessively about other ways to spend time outside.
